Seán Mfundza Muller
Seán Muller is a senior research fellow at the Johannesburg Institute for Advanced Study and a visiting fellow at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for the Advanced Study of the Humanities. In 2014 he provided a pro bono expert affidavit for the Centre for Environmental Rights in an application against coal mining by the Vele Colliery in Mapungubwe, Limpopo. In 2017 his costs were covered by Africa Utility Week to attend the Nuclear Power Africa conference, where he criticised the nuclear power procurement deal proposed at the time. He has previously criticised both nuclear and renewables lobbying in South Africa.
