Paul Buhle

Paul Buhle is a veteran of civil rights, peace, labour and other activities since the 1960s, past editor and publisher of several Left journals and, since 2005, editor of more than a dozen nonfiction graphic novels, including biographical comics on Che Guevara, Emma Goldman, Eugene Debs, Herbert Marcuse, James Connolly and Paul Robeson. A WEB du Bois adaptation of ‘The Souls of Black Folk’ is due in 2023. He is a retired senior lecturer at Brown University in the United States.
